Summer Sizzle VI events include the Culture and Style Welcome Party, the Sunset White Fashion Fete, a Sailing Excursion to St. John and the highly anticipated fashion gala and VIP After-Party. The "Global Glamour" fashion show which remains the highlight of Summer Sizzle VI, serves as a platform for showcasing international and Caribbean trend-setting fashion designers. Models from the world's top agencies including, Ford, IMG, Elite, DNA, Major, Muse and RED grace the catwalk. Sessilee Lopez, Arlenis Sosa, Georgie Badiel and Tara Gill are among the diverse selection of top models that have walked the Summer Sizzle VI runways.
Originally created in 2007 by Terry Donovan of Signature by Terry Donovan Events, Summer Sizzle VI began as a fashion show with the purpose of promoting the Virgin Islands. Since then, Terry's vision has culminated into a four day fashion and lifestyle event attracting celebrities, designers, models, international media, industry executives, retail buyers and a diverse audience of affluent professionals and influencers from around the globe.
Previous headliners from Summer Sizzle VI Fashion Show include: Kevan Hall, one of Hollywood's leading designers, Korto Momolu, Project Runway star, Cesar Galindo from the hit Bravo TV show "Fashion Show", American Designer Tracy Reese, Baby Phat by Kimora Lee Simmons, Los Angeles based designer Nana Boateng, top New York designers LaQuan Smith, Roger Gary and the Caribbean's most notable designer Claudia Pegus. The event has also featured USVI's designer Andre Etienne and BVI's designer Kristin Frazer of Trefle Designs.
